System Overview
The equipment connects to the EcoFlow OCEAN Pro Hybrid Inverter and IslandDER Meter Socket Adapter (MSA) to enable communication between the devices,thereby achieving power detection, anti-backflow protection, and grid-tied/off-grid switching.
Major Functions
- Streamlined Installation: Plugs into the meter socket with a simple interface box—no main panel upgrades needed, reducing cost and complexity.
- Real-Time Monitoring: Built-in metering tracks whole-home energy use and grid flow with precise, up-to-the-minute data.
- Seamless Backup Activation: Automatically disconnects from the grid and switches to EcoFlow OCEAN Pro battery backup in less than 15ms[1] during an outage.
